Flux Insulated Jacket - L - Shadow

Designed for cold and damp conditions in the mountains. Featuring 100g and 60g PrimaLoft® SILVER ECO combined to maximise insulation without compromising comfort, the Flux was conceived to be more than a simple belay jacket. Developed in conjunction with Montane athletes the Flux Jacket is ideally suited to Scottish winter climbing.

Utilising zoned insulation, the Flux Insulated Jacket achieves optimal warmth while balancing weight, providing cold weather warmth where you need it most. 100g/m2 insulation is found in the main body, providing essential warmth for your core. 60g/m2 is utilised in the arms and hood, providing all the warmth you need while minimising excess weight and bulk. Highly compressible and packing down into its own hand pocket, the Flux is an ideal companion for hiking, climbing and mountaineering.

Warm, lightweight, highly packable and 100% recycled, PrimaLoft® Silver insulation is water resistant and provides excellent thermal efficiency, ensuring you stay warm even in wet conditions.

Designed to provide high levels of warmth with minimal bulk, the insulation provides an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio while also being highly compressible, allowing it to pack down small.

The ultra-fine fibers of the PrimaLoft® insulation trap body heat, keep out cold air and provides a very tight surface tension to keep water at bay. Treated with a permanent water repellent finish the insulation is hydrophobic, repelling water and moisture. This ensures the insulation continues to keep you warm when wet and is very fast drying, perfect for unpredictable weather.

Windproof and water repellent weather protection

Windproof, water repellent, soft to the touch and 100% recycled, PERTEX® QUANTUM ECO is constructed in a tightly woven structure to provide windproof protection and trap still air inside the insulated jacket. This allows the PrimaLoft® insulation to fully loft and retain its warmth.

The fabric is lightweight, packable and soft to the touch. A durable water repellent (DWR) finish allows the fabric to shed light rain and snow, allowing the jacket to provide weather protection in adverse conditions.

The fabric is constructed using highly abrasion resistant nylon ripstop, incorporating reinforcement yarns to provide durable resistance to tearing, helping the fabric to withstand harsh mountain environments.
