Description
The Kask Superplasma PL is a lightweight helmet, suitable for technical rope rescue and working at height which conforms to climbing and mountaineering helmet standard EN12492.
Its light weight is due to a PP Polypropylene external shell and a HD Polystyrene internal shell. The Plasma AQ offers comfort thanks to several features including an efficient ventilation system which ensures breathability from ten air intakes, and anti-intrusion grille prevents any debris from entering the helmet. The inside is lined with a high-tech fabric which disperses moisture. It can be easily adjusted, even when wearing gloves thanks to the micrometrical size regulation mechanism which is found at the back of the helmet. The four-point chin strap has a quick release fastening and opening, and it is crossed at the back to provide better security of the helmet to the head. A lateral divider adjusts the length of the straps, and a loop allows the helmet to be connected to a harness.
Comfort and a precise fit are achieved by the innovative Up & Down technology which works by a centre wheel and two side flaps that allows quick adjustment of the helmet. The height, tilt and width can all be adjusted this way.
Strong nylon external clips are compatible with elastic banded headlamps and there is an attachment for fitting visors. An integrated slot fits earmuffs with a bayonet attachment.
