Refund policy

At Summit Tactical, we want to ensure that our customers have a simple and fair return experience. If for any reason you need to return an item, we accept returns within 100 days of receipt, as long as the item is in its original condition.   4. Once we’ve received and processed your returned items, we’ll issue your refund to your original payment method or to a store gift card, depending on the option you selected. Please allow up to 30 days for your return to be processed.

RETURN CONDITIONS

Free gift with purchase - Please note: if you received a free gift with your order, the free gift must also be returned to us along with your returned product. If you do not return the free gift, the RRP of the free gift will be deducted from your refund. 

Some goods are exempt from being returned including:

  • Perishable goods such as food
  • Hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
  • Gift cards

Helmets and PPE: For the safety of our customers, helmets and PPE can only be returned for refund within 14 days from the date you received the goods. Helmets and PPE must be in a new and unused condition with all labels in place and in their original packaging unless the product is faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights. If there is any sign or possibility that the goods have been used or contaminated then we regret that we are unable to accept a return on the grounds of consumer safety.

We will only accept underwear returns that are in a new and unused condition and in their original packaging with any hygiene strips still in place where applicable. 

Unwanted goods

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the products you purchase from us then we will refund you. Simply return items within 100 days of receipt, in their original condition, including packaging, tags and labels.

Returning a faulty or incorrect item?

What should I do if my item's faulty?
We're sorry if you have received a faulty item. 

Please return the item to us as soon as possible so we can assess the issue. Please email comms@summittactical.com to return a faulty item.

Once we have received the item and it is confirmed as faulty (this should be within one week of us receiving the goods), we will let you know whether we can issue a replacement, a refund or another suitable alternative.

If you report a faulty item within 30 days of receipt, you can choose either to exchange the item (subject to it still being in stock) or we can provide a full refund and we'll cover the cost of your return postage. Beyond the 30-day period, but still within a year, we will offer a replacement, repair or another suitable alternative. Please note that items must be clean when returned to us. Any items that arrive with us in an unclean or unhygienic condition will be returned to you, and you will be required to pay the return shipping charge. Please bear in mind that all items are inspected on return, and those with wear and tear rather than a fault may not be refunded.

What should I do if my item's incorrect?
If you received the wrong item, please send it back to us as soon as you can. Once we receive your item back, we will send the correct item to you.

Incorrect items must be returned to us in a 100% resalable condition (in their original condition, including packaging, tags and labels) or you will be subject to a restocking fee (10%). 

Want to exchange an item?

We don’t offer exchanges unless you received a faulty or incorrect item. All returned items will be refunded once they arrive at our warehouse. Need it in a different size or colour? Simply place a new order.

Return Postage

For unwanted items, you are responsible for the return shipping cost. If you are returning an item due to an error on our part such as a faulty or incorrect item, then we'll cover the return postage costs. When returning items to us, we advise that you use a trackable shipping service or purchase shipping insurance. We will not be liable for the replacement of goods or refunds if we do not receive your returned item.

International Returns

If a product has been ordered to an International address (outside the UK), that needs to be returned due to incorrect sizing, the customer will need to place a new order on the website and is responsible for any additional import taxes and duties (including VAT) incurred on subsequent shipments. Please try to ensure the correct size is ordered in the first instance to minimise the risk of receiving a product that doesn’t fit. if help is needed to determine which size is appropriate, please email comms@summittactical for advice.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Please allow up to 5 working days for your return to be processed once it has been received.

If your return is approved, then your refund will be processed. Your refund will be adjusted if any offer or discount was applied to your order. You will be refunded for the amount you paid for shipping on your original order, however, you, the customer are responsible for the return shipping cost. Items not returned in 100% resalable condition will be subject to a restocking fee (10%). If you received a free gift with your order, the free gift must also be returned to us along with your returned product. If you do not return the free gift, the RRP of the free gift will be deducted from your refund.

Refund to original payment method
A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. If a refund is initiated and the original payment is no longer available, a gift card or credit will be issued. Refunds take approximately 5–10 business days because processing time can vary between banks. Please allow 30 days for credit to clear once received.

Refund to store gift card
You will receive an email with your gift card which can be used against any future orders. Gift cards are valid for 2 years from the date of issue.

BFPO Refunds

In the event of a refund being issued for a BFPO order. You will receive the refund amount, minus any previously refunded VAT.

Consumer Right to Cancel

If you wish to exercise your rights to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you need to inform us by starting a return at our Returns Centre and returning the items in their original condition, including packaging, tags and labels, within 14 days from the date you receive your goods. We will refund you the costs of the goods, including the original postage cost paid, but you will need to pay the cost to get the goods back to us.
