Description

Introducing the non-GTX version of the popular Fugitive Tactical GTX. With its robust durability, high-tech fabrication and superior grip in varied terrain, the  Fugitive was designed in collaboration with leading outdoor footwear manufacturer, Asolo, to develop a custom-modified boot, designed specifically for the military.

Made from a combination of 1.6-1.8mm water-resistant suede and high tenacity nylon, with a Cambrelle lining and an Asolo rubber outsole, the boot also features a high-tenacity nylon upper and a rubber toe cap for added comfort and protection. The outsole has self-cleaning lugs that are designed for optimum performance on varying types of terrain.

The custom-made Fugitive Tactical features all of the performance and durability of the original model whilst incorporating some key enhancements. The primary differences are a tactical colourway and an alternative lacing system for safer use with climbing ropes for military personnel.

What is the benefit of the Cambrelle lining in the Fugitive Tactical?

The Cambrelle lining is engineered for superior moisture management. It is a highly breathable, non-waterproof material that wicks sweat away from the foot and dries rapidly. This makes it the superior choice for high-intensity operations in hot or humid climates where a waterproof membrane would trap too much heat.

How does the Tactical Fugitive differ from the standard civilian version?

This is a custom collaboration designed specifically for military use. The primary upgrades include:

  • No-Snag Lacing: We replaced civilian speed hooks with fully laced eyelets from the ankle up. This is a critical safety requirement for fast-roping and airborne operations to prevent line snags.
  • Tactical Colorway: Developed in low-signature tones to blend seamlessly with OCP and other service uniforms.
  • Wide Fit Last: Optimized for the professional user who requires more volume in the toe box for comfort during extended periods of load carriage.

Is this boot suitable for wet environments if it isn't Gore-Tex?

While this version is not 100% waterproof, it is constructed from 1.6-1.8mm water-resistant suede. It will repel light moisture and damp grass, but its real strength is in its ability to "breathe" and drain. For maritime ops or river crossings, this boot will dry out significantly faster than a Gore-Tex model once you are on dry land.

How does the Duo Asoflex technology support heavy rucking?

The Duo Asoflex lasting board uses a dual-density design. A stiff element provides the lateral structure needed to prevent ankle rolls when carrying a heavy pack on uneven terrain, while a softer element provides shock absorption. This ensures the boot remains supportive under load without feeling like a "stiff" traditional combat boot.

Can the soles be replaced once they wear out?

Yes. To ensure your kit has a long service life, the Fugitive Tactical is designed to be fully resoleable. You can maintain the custom-fitted upper and have a professional cobbler replace the Asolo Syncro rubber outsole when the lugs eventually wear down.
