Description

Norronas most versatile down jacket with a hood.

This lightweight and packable insulation jacket is made for mountaineering, and is suitable for all-season outdoor activities. This jacket works perfectly as an outer layer on cold summer days and as an insulation layer during the winter.

It’s made with aeroDownproof face fabric to provide solid weather protection, lightweight and soft touch, and filled with premium down for an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio.

The main face fabric is high-quality recycled 20D nylon treated with PFC-free DWR for improved water repellency. In addition, exposed areas like shoulders and sleeves are reinforced in 45D recycled nylon to provide long-lasting durability.

The jacket is filled with high-quality, RDS-certified 750fp down (100g in men's L/85g in women’s M), distributed in a T-shirt shape to ensure significant warming properties where it is most needed. The sides, neck, and lower arms have been outfitted with recycled synthetic insulating to prevent heat loss in colder conditions. The shoulder piece is insulated with a combination of down and synthetic material to ensure durability and maintenance of loft in this exposed area.

Key features include a one-hand adjustable hood fitted for a beanie, hand warming pockets, a chest pocket, elastic tightening at the hem, and elastic cuffs.

The jacket has a technical fit with a Y-cut and articulated arms for good movement.

PERFORMANCE

6/6 Windproofness: Products that protect against extreme wind and conditions, both through the construction of the garment and the taped and windproof membrane. These products have a stiffer fabric which provides a greater shield effect as it will not adhere to the mid-layer / body in the same way as lighter fabrics. This is especially efficient in temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius where the “wind chill” effect is increasing.

6/6 Waterproofness: Norronas most waterproof products will keep you dry regardless of the weather. They have taped seams, durable membrane and will keep you protected through an entire day of demanding weather. The products are durable and will keep their functionality for years if you make sure to maintain them. The products are engineered for maximum protection and have passed the extensive Storm test by Gore-Tex.

1/6 Insulation: Has no insulating properties but can still work well on top of insulation layers and provide heat through wind protection. Thin one-layer fabrics are often super packable and lightweight shell products. Will feel cold during windy conditions if you don’t have any layering underneath.

3/6 Breathability: Offers sufficient breathability at medium-intensity activities. Requires active use of ventilation and airing options. This is the standard of classic Gore-Tex and membrane fabrics

4/6 Durability: Durable yet pretty lightweight outer layers. Suitable for versatile outdoor use.

3/6 Lightweight: Not particularly lightweight, but the functionality and details of the products will make up for this.
