Description
Norronas most versatile waterproof jacket with the new ePE Membrane.
This protective shell jacket is made for all-year mountaineering but works great for general outdoor activities all year, from trekking to ski touring.
We use GORE-TEX® fabric because it’s the world-leading quality for durable waterproofness (28,000mm), optimized breathability (RET Less than 13), and total windproofness.
The fabric is a light 3-layer 40D ePE GORE-TEX® with a recycled nylon face and backer, 101gm2.
Key features include: Long underarm vents with two-way zipper, articulated sleeves, mid-mounted pockets, a storm hood fitted for a helmet with one-hand adjustment, and asymmetric cuffs with Velcro adjustment.
The jacket has a technical fit with a Y-cut and articulated arms for good movement.

PERFORMANCE
6/6 Windproofness: Products that protect against extreme wind and conditions, both through the construction of the garment and the taped and windproof membrane. These products have a stiffer fabric which provides a greater shield effect as it will not adhere to the mid-layer / body in the same way as lighter fabrics. This is especially efficient in temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius where the “wind chill” effect is increasing.
6/6 Waterproofness: Norronas most waterproof products will keep you dry regardless of the weather. They have taped seams, durable membrane and will keep you protected through an entire day of demanding weather. The products are durable and will keep their functionality for years if you make sure to maintain them. The products are engineered for maximum protection and have passed the extensive Storm test by Gore-Tex.
1/6 Insulation: Has no insulating properties but can still work well on top of insulation layers and provide heat through wind protection. Thin one-layer fabrics are often super packable and lightweight shell products. Will feel cold during windy conditions if you don’t have any layering underneath.
4/6 Breathability: Norronas most breathable outer layers with good protective properties. It provides sufficient and effective moisture transportation during medium intensity but will require the use of extra ventilation, e.g., under arms during high activity.
4/6 Durability: Durable yet pretty lightweight outer layers. Suitable for versatile outdoor use.
5/6 Lightweight: Among the lightest outer layers within its segment, with slightly better protective properties compared to category 6.
